Mr. Tiemann began his career in Chicago, Il. with H&R Block as a wealth management advisor where he gained deep experience in the finance landscape, spanning from traditional equities to fixed income debt to insurance annuities. He then founded his own broker/ dealer, RIA, Alton Securities Asset Advisors a subsidiary of RBC Wealth Management and was a principal in the firm, overseeing asset management, real estate transactions, and compliance for the company.

Prior to joining 36th Street Partners, Mr. Tiemann was a founding partner and president of Four Peaks Group. During his tenure at Four Peaks Group., he helmed the capital raises plus the buy-side and sell-side acquisitions across the range of consumer, network, and digital media outlets. He brings a pragmatically data-driven approach to identifying investment opportunities based on due diligence of prior, current, and projected economic conditions.

Mr. Tiemann received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from University of Illinois and garnered the National Merit Presidents Scholarship and James Scholar Honors Program. He yielded his Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, and Series 4 financial security licenses. Born and raised in Southern Illinois and now a 20 year resident of California, Mr. Tiemann enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with his wife and two children. He is an avid golfer who also enjoys philosophy and international traveling.
